• A survey is being conducted to gather input on the Door County Bicycle, Pedestrian and Recreational Facilities Plan. Those who wish to take the survey can find it online at surveymonkey.com/s/TLM2ZY7

• The Door County League of Women Voters is sponsoring candidate forums for two of Door County’s contested April elections. The first will feature candidates for the Liberty Grove Town Board and be hosted at the Liberty Grove Town Hall on Feb. 16, starting at 10 am. The second will feature candidates for the Southern Door School Board and will be held at the Southern Door High School library on March 4, starting at 7 pm.

• This year’s Door and Kewaunee County Legislative Days are scheduled to take place on May 15-16. During Legislative Days, approximately 100 Door and Kewaunee County residents head down to the state capitol to petition lawmakers and department heads on various issues of interest to the counties.

• Residents are encouraged to participate by providing input on issues they’d like to see discussed by contacting Agenda Committee Chair Rob Burke at 920.746.2260. They may also be able to join the delegation heading to Madison in May.
