The Art of Brevity

Explore short forms such as flash fiction, memoir and prose poems with teaching artist Robin Sauerwein. The cost is $45; scholarships are available.

Craft of Writing Series: Nonfiction

Join writers Rilla Askew and John Hildebrand for three weekly Zoom talks on the craft of writing nonfiction. Askew’s most recent book is Most American: Notes from a Wounded Place, and her novel Fire in Beulah is an American Book Award winner. Hildebrand is the author of four books of nonfiction, most recently Long Way Round: Through the Heartland by River. His work has been widely anthologized and translated. The cost is $150 for three sessions, with a 10% discount for Write On members. Scholarships are available.
