If you love to sing, the Community Choir of Door County is for you. It will meet on Mondays, 5:30-7 pm, starting Sept. 16, at the St. Peter and Paul Church in Institute. Members may arrive early to chat.
The choir comprises people of all ages, talent levels and skills who are connected by a love of song. It performs one or two major benefit concerts for Feed My People/Clothe My People each year, and it sings at numerous Door County nursing and assisted-living homes. Cheryl Pfister is the choir’s music director.
There are no auditions or mandatory attendance. Dues are $25 per season to cover expenses, but contact the choir if the dues are preventing you from joining. Find the choir on Facebook to learn more.
