Community Health Information Program Discusses “Resources for Living” at Upcoming Meeting

Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry continues its Community Health Information Programs with an upcoming presentation, “Resources for Living in Northern Door County,” on Jan. 29, 4 pm, at First Baptist Church, Sister Bay. Speakers will be Pam Bush from Door-Tran and Sheila Petroni from Neighbor-to-Neighbor. As people age, their ability to be totally independent may change. There is an abundance of resources available to Door County residents, but this program will address: transportation and options available through Door-Tran; the free usage and availability of medical equipment through Neighbor to Neighbor; and meal options available through Meals on Wheels, frozen meal delivery and meal site options.

Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry offers free blood pressure screenings beginning at 5 pm at the monthly Loaves & Fishes Meal on the fourth Tuesday of each month at St. Rosalia Church, and 8:15 – 10:15 am on the second Tuesday of the month at the YMCA in Fish Creek.
