Marggie Hatala is Featured Speaker at Sept. 22 Community Health Information Program

Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry ( will continue its Community Health Information Programs on Sept. 22, 4 pm, when Marggie Hatala of Doulagivers of Door County will present “What Does a Death Doula Offer at the End of Life?” at Sister Bay’s First Baptist Church. She will discuss what happens as a family faces a terminal diagnosis and offer insight into how a death doula can help with the physical, mental and emotional support that’s needed. The ministry also offers free blood-pressure screenings beginning at 5 pm at the monthly Loaves & Fishes meal on the fourth Tuesday at St. Rosalia Church in Sister Bay; and 8:15-10:15 am monthly on the second Tuesday at the YMCA in Fish Creek. CPR/AED courses are also being offered at the Sister Bay & Liberty Grove Fire Department on Sept. 19, 6-10 pm; and Oct. 17, 6-10 pm.
