Contests Announced for Wisconsin Writers

Wisconsin People & Ideas regularly publishes fiction and poetry from around the state, and is searching for emerging writers to become a part of Wisconsin’s new literary canon.

The 2013 contests are open to poems and short stories written by Wisconsin residents and students. Submissions will be accepted from Sept. 15 – Dec. 15.

Prizes include winning up to $500, publication in Wisconsin People & Ideas and a one-week writer’s residency at Shake Rag Alley in Mineral Point.
