Croke Next Artist Featured in Tlazo Series

The weather outside is frightful but the Caffe Tlazo Artist Series is delightful. On December 13 from 9 am – 2 pm visit Caffe Tlazo in Algoma, where the art of Door County artist Melanie Croke will be highlighted and warm drinks await.

Croke is the owner of the Frame Station and the Gallery of New Beginnings in Fish Creek, which she opened in 1998. There she creates and frames her original art along with commissioned framing jobs. Her artistic career began as a picture framer in 1992 where she learned the trade at the Great Frame Up in Chicago. In 2007 Croke was commissioned by Door County Memorial Hospital for 11 original watercolor and oil paintings for the birthing center. She is currently a student at the Kewaunee Academy of Fine Art.

On Sunday, December 13, from 9 am – 2 pm, everyone is urged to take a break from Christmas planning and renew themselves through viewing wonderful works of original art by local artist Melanie Croke.
