Crossroads At Big Creek December Events

The 2023 Christmas Bird Count at Crossroads at Big Creek will be held on Dec. 16 from 8 am – 5:30 pm. Help identify local bird species while adding to over a century of community-science data. Families with children are encouraged to join the bird count from 2-3 pm as part of Crossroads’ Saturday Science program. 

Also on Dec. 16, the Door Peninsula Astronomical Society will hold its monthly viewing night. Planetarium shows will be offered and weather permitting, the observatory will be open for naked-eye viewing of the stars. Meet at 7 pm at the Stonecipher Astronomy Center at Crossroads Astronomy Campus, 2200 Utah St. in Sturgeon Bay.

The Door County Beekeeper Club holds its Bee-Social Holiday Gathering at Crossroads on Dec. 10 at 6:30 pm. Meet in the Collins Learning Center, 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay.
