DC Brew Features Local Photographer

The owners and staff of DC Brew, 116 S. Madison Avenue, Sturgeon Bay are pleased to announce the addition of an inspiring and spectacular collection of photographic images to their coffee shop and eatery on the city’s west side. On display are the works of Sturgeon Bay artist/photographer Ben Konarzewski, whose work is also a part of the Miller Art Museum’s current “The Focus Of Our Lives” exhibit. A large and expanding collection of Konarzewski’s work will be on display at DC Brew for an indefinite period.

Konarzewski’s photography captures the fascinating and intriguing world in all its facets. From found treasures, to various flora and fauna, to the arrival and departure of the sun and moon, to Door County landscapes and landmarks, to man’s handiwork in relic or recent structures, to human expression and postures, Konarzewski’s work draws in the viewer in both mind and spirit.

While a relative newcomer to the professional art world, the photographer possesses the vision to flourish in his photography endeavor. His primary aim is to share what he sees through the lens of a Nikon digital camera with an audience.

In addition to taking photographs, Konarzewski has the capability of producing his own work. He offers custom size prints (small dimension up to 42 inches) in a range of printable mediums. Konarzewski is also currently assisting some local artists, musicians and other entities by providing photo-shoots, graphic display and or printing services.

The artist intends on being at DC Brew and Gallery often, as he resides just two blocks away. He can be reached at any time by telephone at 920.559.7357 or email at [email protected].

DC Brew & Gallery (920.818.0115) offers a wide variety of coffees and beverages, sandwiches, paninis, wraps, breakfast and pastry. They are open 6 am – 5 pm, Monday through Saturday and 8 am – 3 pm on Sunday.
