DCVB Brings Travel Writers to County

Over their five-day stay, the writers experienced the scope of what the Door Peninsula has to offer, including the expansive vistas from Sven’s Bluff in Peninsula State Park.

The Door County Visitor Bureau organized a group of 18 journalists to visit the peninsula from June 25 – 29.

The DCVB uses the public relations program to invite credentialed travel writers to Door County from throughout the Midwest and across the country experience firsthand all the area has to offer.

Remaining press tours are scheduled for September 20 – 23 and October 8 – 12.

Journalists will participate in a variety of activities during the trip including theatre, golf, water recreation, shopping, arts, concerts, museums, and touring Washington and Rock Islands.
