Destroyers in Sheboygan this Weekend

On Aug. 13, the Door County Destroyers hosted the Racine Raiders in Week 8 of MidStates Football League (MSFL) action. Door County was leading after the first quarter 3-0 and that’s when the Raiders came alive and poured on the points en route to a 45-25 victory. With the win the Raiders are 8-0 on the season as the Destroyers fall to 5-3.

Standout performers of the day: quarterback T.J. Arndt – 23-46 for 303 yards, two touchdowns and rushing for a touchdown; running back TaMar Scott – 119 yards; running back Justin Baker – 35 yards on 8 carries and caught 8 balls for 65 yards; wide receiver Andre Wilson – caught 9 passes for 201 yards, 2 touchdowns; linebacker Donny Johnson – 9 tackles; defensive end Kyle Roy – 3 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery; kicker Eric Natwick – 1-2 on field goals.
