Develop Confidence for Auditions at Dancin’ On the Door Workshop

“Nailing the Dance Audition,” a musical theater/dance workshop by guest artist Ryan Cappleman is coming to Andria’s Dancin’ On The Door School of Dance in September and October.

In this workshop students will learn to develop skills to be confident and comfortable in auditions, to become supportive toward their peers and to enjoy and express themselves in the arts community.

Cappleman is an eight-time Tommy Award-winning choreographer, director, music director, and performer based in Milwaukee. He has choreographed predominantly for high schools across Wisconsin, as well as professionally at Skylight Music Theatre, Children’s Theater of Madison, Vogel Hall at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, UW-Milwaukee, and UW-Waukesha. Cappleman has taught for many prestigious organizations including Danceworks Milwaukee, Children’s Theater of Madison, The Overture Center for the Arts and First Stage Children’s Theater. He is currently music directing Guys and Does for Northern Sky Theater, and will be seen as a Cagelles in La Cage Aux Folles this holiday season at Skylight.

This workshop is offered Sept. 25 and Oct. 2 from 1 to 2:30 pm. The workshop is designed for students ages 13 to 18 with all levels of dance ability. The cost is $20 per workshop.
