Dinnerware Featured at TR Pottery

Potters Tony and Renée Gebauer are making plates and inviting customers to work with them to create dinnerware sets.

“Renée and I worked on designing classic plates, and I have been working to build up an inventory of them. We used to take orders for dinnerware sets but sometimes customers had to wait a year to get their pieces. Now, when people decide they want a set from us they can leave the gallery with their pieces,” said Tony.

“Because we’ve standardized our designs and our glazes, people can build sets over time. They can feel good that pieces purchased this year will all coordinate with pieces purchased next year,” said Renée.

TR Pottery’s dinner plates are 11” in diameter and their luncheon plates are 9” in diameter. In addition, customers can also choose bowls, mugs, tumblers and a variety of serving pieces to round out their sets.

The Gebauers’ also have wood-fired plates available. Each of these is more one-of-a-kind, but all of the glazes work so well together they can be combined to make really distinctive sets.

TR Pottery, open 10 am – 8 pm Monday through Saturday and 10 am – 5 pm Sunday, is located on Highway 42 in Fish Creek, next to The Cookery. For more information call 920.868.1024 or visit
