Disability And Transition Resource Fair

Parents and guardians of young people with disabilities who are finishing high school are asked to register by April 11 for the Disability and Transition Resource Fair. The event will be 1-3 pm and 4-6 pm Thursday, April 18, at We Are Hope Inc. in Cherry Valley Mall.

Approximately 20 organizations, government entities and businesses will attend to provide information on services and assistance for students, mostly aged 17-18, who are about to move out of high school to what lies beyond, said Mary Ann Salmon, organizer and disability benefits specialist for the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Door County. 

To register, visit sites.google.com/view/doorccot/home or scan a QR code on fliers that are going out to libraries, grocery stores, schools, post offices, YMCA, NWTC and thrift stores.
