DNR Presents Statewide Bob Ross-Themed Run

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will organize a virtual event inspired by artist Bob Ross, titled Run for the Trees: Happy Little 5K. 

Between Earth Day on April 22 and Arbor Day on April 26, participants can walk, run, skate, scooter, cycle or use a mobility device anywhere to complete the 3.1-mile race.

A portion of the $36 registration fee will go toward tree planting and efforts to combat threats from invasive species at DNR sites. A portion also goes to a Happy Little T-shirt, a bib number and sticker, a finisher’s medal and shipping fees.

For guaranteed delivery before the race dates, register by April 1. Registration is open until April 15.
