Door County Beer Festival Returns June 16

The Door County Beer Festival, the peninsula’s largest celebration of craft beer, returns to Baileys Harbor on June 16, 2018.

Taste more than 150 different beers from 53 different breweries from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan and Illinois. Festival-goers get unlimited tastings in the Peninsula Pulse tasting tent from 12-4 pm, while VIP attendees will get early entry and exclusive access to specialty beers from five Wisconsin breweries.

“The Wisconsin craft beer scene, particularly in our part of the state, has come of age since we started the festival six years ago,” said organizer Myles Dannhausen Jr. “It’s a great chance to see what our local brewers are doing in Door County, Algoma, Green Bay and the Fox Valley.”

The festival is about much more than great craft beer. Chefs from some of Door County’s best restaurants will be on the grounds serving street food-style versions of their specialties. Whistling Swan, Chives, Wickman House, Fireside, Thyme Cuisine and Door County Creamery will all be on the grounds, and live music on the 106.9 The Lodge stage. Beer festival tickets are not necessary to enjoy the music and purchase food.

Plus, Door County Kettle Corn serves up treats and Tapuat Kombucha will be on site offering tastings.

The festival also marks the fifth anniversary of Door County Brewing Co., with specialty beers from the brewery’s Hacienda Brewing Co. line, and great live music in the brewery all weekend. Shuttles will be available with stops at the Baileys Harbor Yacht Club, Baileys Grove Campground, the Ridges Resort, and the beer festival grounds before and after the festival.

Tickets are $40 and available at DoorCountyTickets.com. For more information visit doorcountybeerfestival.com.
