Door County Bluegrass at Woodwalk Gallery

Fairland, a six-piece Family Bluegrass band from Door County, will be performing at Woodwalk Gallery, in Egg Harbor, Saturday Sept 27.

Fairland, consists of Dan and Teri Rass, along with their three daughters, Erin, Calyn and Hana, and son-in-law, Neil Saindon.

Fairland has been performing together for two years, with bluegrass music as the main theme. Dan has been playing country lead guitar for over thirty-five years, and as his children showed more interest in music, he decided to pursue their dreams. Erin plays mandolin, Calyn, plays banjo, and sixteen-year-old Hana tears it up on fiddle breaks. All three girls sing both lead and harmony, along with mom and dad.

The newest addition to the group is Neil. He has that high lonesome tenor voice so desired for bluegrass. They have that good old-fashioned “Family Blend” harmony.

There will be a $10 cover for adults, children 12 and under are free. Concert starts at 7 pm.
