Door County Candle Company Under New Ownership

Door County Candle Company has changed hands: Former owners Mike and Tonya Felhofer have retired, and Door County native Christiana (Gorchynsky) Trapani has purchased the business. 

The company at 5789 Hwy 42 in Carlsville creates scented candle products, including paraffin, soy, pillar and taper candles; votives; wax melts; candle accessories; etched and gift items; home accents and more. Each scented candle product is hand-poured and handcrafted on-site. Candle dipping is a staple for both kids and adults. 

“I am ecstatic to be the new owner of Door County Candle Company and keep the flame burning strong,” Trapani said. “I have a deep love for Door County, the community and candles, and I am excited to take this business to the next level while always remembering its roots.”
