Door County Half Marathon Seeks Volunteers

Do you want to join the team working on one of Door County’s fastest-growing community events?

The Door County Half Marathon and Nicolet Bay 5k are looking for volunteers to help prepare for the 4th annual race May 7, 2011. Volunteers are needed to help assemble runner’s packets for the more than 2,000 participants expected for the race. Volunteers are also needed to fill various roles May 6 and 7 as we prepare the course and welcome participants on race day.

Over 1,200 runners have registered for the half marathon to date, already surpassing last year’s total. The race is capped at 1,500 participants in the half marathon and 500 for the 5k.
