Door County Halloween Events

No matter how old you are, it seems that everyone can get into the many festivities that Halloween brings – costumes, pumpkins, and, of course, buckets of candy. Door County has its fair share of Halloween activities planned for the weekend, many of which are listed below. Friday, October 30:

• Halloween Storytime, Forestville Library, 9:30 am.

• Halloween crafts & stories, Sturgeon Bay Library, 1 – 5 pm.

• Pioneer Cemetery Walk, Peninsula State Park, Fish Creek, 10 am.

• Halloween Party, Karly’s Dance Hall, Washington Island, 5 – 9 pm. The preschool and family center bring their annual fundraiser with Halloween fun, games, silent auction and food. Come in costume – child or adult!

• Haunted Hands On Rock and Roll Night, Hands On Art Studio, Fish Creek, 6 pm. Free admission with costume.

• Haunted Mansion, Quietwoods South, Brussels, 7 – 10 pm. Dare to visit four haunted attractions, including a haunted wooded trail, mini corn maze of madness, haunted bus ride and the haunted mansion.

• Haunted Pub Crawl, offered by the Door County Trolley, 7:30 pm. Trolley will leave from the Landmark Resort.

• Edgar Allan Polka & Other Dark Delights, Cherry Lanes, Sturgeon Bay, 10 pm.

• Bacchus-Fest featuring Bacchus Lotus, Gordon Lodge, Baileys Harbor.

• Halloween Party, Husby’s, Sister Bay. Prizes for the best costumes of the night, drink specials and the Mullet Hunters!

Saturday, October 31:

• Halloween crafts & stories, Sturgeon Bay Library, 9 am – 5 pm.

• Halloween Trick-or-Treat Safe Walk, Village of Egg Harbor, 1 – 4 pm.

• Jacksonport Trick-or-Treat, 3 – 7 pm. Those homes willing to participate will have their porch lights turned on so that both parents and children will know which houses they can go to for trick or treating.

• “Bats and Owls” Family Program, Crossroads at Big Creek, Sturgeon Bay, 2 pm.

• Halloween Party, Town of Baileys Harbor, 5:30 – 7:30 pm.

• Sister Bay Halloween Party, Sister Bay Fire Station, 6 – 8 pm.

• Haunted Mansion, Quietwoods South, Brussels, 7 – 10 pm. Dare to visit four haunted attractions, including a haunted wooded trail, mini corn maze of madness, haunted bus ride and the haunted mansion.

• “Chills & Thrills” Magic Show, Third Avenue Playhouse, Sturgeon Bay, 7:30 pm. $1 off admission with costume.

• Ghost Writers in Disguise, Ladder House, Sturgeon Bay, 8 pm.

• Halloween Party with Andy’s Automatics, Stone Harbor Resort, Sturgeon Bay, 8:30 pm.
