Door County Historical Society Hosts Restoration Roundtable

The Door County Historical Society will host its yesteryear program Restoration Roundtable on June 29, 1 pm, in the Vignes School at the Heritage Village, 2041 Michigan St., at Crossroads at Big Creek, Sturgeon Bay. 

Dennis Statz and Henry Isaksen will lead an open discussion and Q&A session about the essential aspects of restoring old buildings. They have worked together on restoration projects, so they will describe the sometimes arduous – but always rewarding – process, which is essential for preserving Door County’s architecture and history. This program is free, but donations are appreciated. The Heritage Village will be open June 29 for self-guided tours, 10 am – 3 pm. Adult admission is $6.50; a donation for youth admission is appreciated.
