Door County Home & Garden Expo Set for March 24 & 25

People can find out what’s new in home building, remodeling and gardening during the Home & Garden Expo set for March 24 and 25 at Stone Harbor Convention Center in Sturgeon Bay.

This year’s event, sponsored by the Door County Home Builders Association (DCHBA), runs from 10 am to 6 pm Saturday and from 10 am to 4 pm Sunday.

Also, the DCHBA is donating and giving away to one Expo attendee a LED/LCD television. People will also obtain a discount on entrance to the DCHBA’s Showcase of Homes event, which will take place in May.

Highlights of the Home & Garden Expo include exhibitors with educational information about remodeling, building, interior design, kitchen cabinets, countertops, flooring, heating and air conditioning, energy, decks, landscaping, banking and more.

Also, free seminars will run throughout the two-day event. Included are Saturday sessions:

11 am: “Getting your construction project started”

1 pm: “Process of Financing a Construction Project”

3 pm: “Backyard Water Features and Maintenance: Own Your Own ‘Peace’ of Nature”

Planned Sunday seminars are:
