Door County Humane Society Featured Pets

JONAS is a young male Cattle Dog, a stray from Liberty Grove. If you are searching for the perfect dog, please come to the Humane Society for a meet-and-greet with Jonas. Outgoing and calm, he likes the other dogs at the shelter but really prefers to be indoors with people. Jonas is medium size, 36 lbs.

MARVIN is 2 – 4 years old, neutered. Found in Forestville, Marvin observes the shelter lobby from his cage, hoping that each new visitor will be his new best friend. Will you fill that role?

The Mink River Basin Supper Club will once again sponsor a fundraiser for the Door County Humane Society. This 4th annual “Pasta for Pets” event will take place on Thursday, August 28 from 4 – 7 pm and will include an all-you-can eat spaghetti and meatball buffet (vegetarian available) with bread, salad, dessert and coffee. Penny the Pug will be at the event again, and there will be opportunities for prizes. Cost for the buffet will be $10.95/adults and $5/kids.
