Door County People of Faith Continues to Meet at Glas

Door County People of Faith church began meeting upstairs at Glas Coffeehouse on Jan. 18, and is delivering on its promise to support nonprofit community lifelines in Sturgeon Bay and throughout Door County. Without a building to maintain or paid staff to sustain, “We’re committed to spending more on others than we do on ourselves,” says founding pastor Rev. Bruce H. Joffe, who describes the growing congregation as “spiritual rather than religious, organic over organizational, and personal beyond institutional.”

The church has a progressive orientation and gathers between 10:30 and 11:30 am. On May 2, the focus is “The Bible: Holy Book and/or Savage Text?” For more information visit doorcountypeopleoffaith.org.
