Door County Performance – Sevastopol High School Choir Takes on the ‘20s with “The Boy Friend”

Sevastopol High School Choir has been busy preparing for this year’s fall musical, The Boy Friend, by Sandy Wilson. A comic pastiche of 1920s shows, the play is filled with fun, unforgettable songs and dances, such as the popular “charleston.”

The setting of the play is Nice, France, where five young ladies attend Madame Dubonnet’s Villa Caprice finishing school. Filled with bubbly energy, a bit of jealousy, an ounce of heartache, and a “whole lotta love,” the show is guaranteed to entertain.

Performance dates are set for November 7 and 8 at 7:30 pm in the Elementary Gym. Tickets will be available after October 15 in the high school office and are priced at $5 for adults and $4 for students and children.
