Door County Stories Interviews Jerod Santek
Third Avenue Playhouse’s (TAP) ongoing interview series, Door County Stories, will next feature Jerod Santek, a poet and Write On, Door County’s artistic director. The interview will premiere on TAP’s Facebook page June 11, 7 pm.
Santek was the founding director of Write On and now serves as its artistic director, overseeing its residency program, conferences, festivals, classes and presentations. He serves on the Wisconsin Poet Laureate Commission and on the boards of several local organizations. He’s also published poetry, fiction and nonfiction in print and online literary journals and magazines.
The series’ curators and hosts are Robert Boles and James Valcq, TAP’s co-artistic directors; Stephanie Trenchard, co-owner of Popelka Trenchard Glass Fine Art Gallery in Sturgeon Bay; and Alex Genty-Waksberg, a former TAP staff member who’s pursuing a graduate degree in social work at Columbia University.
