Door Shakespeare Audition Dates Announced

Door Shakespeare is currently preparing auditions for their 2010 season, which will include Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing and Sheridan’s The Rivals performing in rep July 9 to Aug. 21. Rehearsals will begin June 14.

Auditions for Door Shakespeare are by invitation through a submission of a current headshot and résumé. Several Acting/technical, costume and administrative internships are also available.

All specific audition studio locations are to be announced; however, general locations include:

• January 25 and 26: Participating in the Milwaukee General Auditions, Milwaukee, WI (this is not a Door Shakespeare casting session)

• January 31: Minneapolis, MN (submissions should be received by January 18)

• February 5: Chicago, IL (submissions should be received by January 22)

• February 6: Milwaukee, WI (submissions should be received by January 22)

If interested in an audition, please submit a picture, résumé and cover letter via US mail only. (We are sorry but no online submissions can be accepted.) Submissions should be received by dates above.
