Eagles Downed by Blue Devils in Girls Hoops

Southern Door’s girls basketball team trailed by four points at halftime Monday en route to losing in Packerland Conference action at Oconto, 55-45.

Payton Gilbertson led the Eagles with 22 points. Bella Price added 14 points with Sophia Counard scoring nine more.

The Eagles, who dropped to 3-7 in the conference and 5-12 overall, will seek to snap a three-game losing streak in Tuesday night’s league game at Sturgeon Bay.
