Eagles Youth Wrestlers Advance to State

Twelve Southern Door youth and middle school wrestlers punched their ticket to Madison on March 19 during WWF Kids State Qualifiers in Merrill and Oshkosh. The top three finishers in each weight class will advance to the WWF Kids Folkstyle State Championships on March 25 and 26 at Madison’s Alliant Energy Center. 

Leading the way with first-place finishes were Nora LeFevre and Delencey DuBois. Jonah LeFevre, Chase Massart, Jade Wrenn, Lilly Wrenn, Sydney Turner and Wyatt Jeanquart wrestled to solid second places, and Clark LeFevre, Payton Jeanquart, Michael Bailey and Tucker Cornette notched third place to advance.
