Door County Easter Hoppenings

As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer, it’s time to defrost and hop into spring. Here’s what’s happening around the county this Easter. 

Easter Egg Hunts

Sturgeon Bay

Family Worship Center, 1715 Michigan St.
March 30, 10-11:15 am 
Worship songs and an Easter message will accompany an egg hunt and prize giveaways. 

Brussels

Brussels Town Park, 1366 Junction Rd. 
March 30, 9 am
The Brussels Shining Stars 4-H Club will host its annual hunt. Children will be separated into the following age groups: 0-2, 3-4, 5-7 and 8-10. 

Baileys Harbor

Recreation Park, 2623 Summit Road
March 30, 9 am
The egg hunt starts at 9 am for ages 0-3; 9:15 am for ages 4-6; and 9:30 am for ages 7-10. Participants can meet and take photos with the Easter Bunny throughout the event. 

Grownups can get in on the fun, too, with the town’s first annual adult egg hunt at 9 am. A $5 donation for each adult participant is suggested and will fund future Easter events. Registration is required as space is limited to 50 adults; visit tinyurl.com/mr37775d to register. 

Jacksonport

Lakeside Park, at the corner of Hwy 57 and County V
March 30, 10 am – 12 pm
Starting at 9:45 am, participants can register near the back covered shelter. The egg hunt for children ages 3-10 begins at 10:00 am.

After finding three eggs, kids can return them to an area near the upper shelter and exchange them for prizes. Guests can also meet the Easter Bunny and get their faces painted.

Sister Bay

Sports Complex, 2155 Autumn Court
March 30, 10:30 am 
Kids of all ages can visit the Easter Bunny and hunt for eggs according to age group.

Ellison Bay

Fitzgerald Park, 1594 Old School Road
March 30, 11 am – 2 pm
Ellison Bay’s Easter Bunny will hide eggs full of small toys and sweets. In the event of inclement weather, check Door County North’s social media to see if the event has been canceled or moved to a new venue.

Other Easter Events

Crossroads EGGstravaganza 

Crossroads at Big Creek, 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay
March 30, 2-4 pm
Participate in educational demonstrations like egg dissections and a raw egg toss. This Science Saturday event is geared towards elementary-aged children and their families, but learners of all ages are welcome.

Easter Trolley Rides 

Door County Trolley, 8030 Hwy 42 in Egg Harbor
March 30
Family-friendly, Easter-themed trolley rides run throughout the day; check doorcountytrolley.com for available times. Rides are $10 for guests 16 and up and free for guests 15 and under.
