Egg Harbor Historical Society Presents Final Program on Dr. Eames

After a postponement, the Egg Harbor Historical Society will present its final program on Dr. Eames on Feb. 11, 1 pm, at the Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor. Eames served Egg Harbor and the surrounding area for 48 years. On a day in July 1937, after completing five house calls, he sat down in his favorite chair and died at age 78. Eames was also a leading orchardist and dairyman as well as an activist in rural education and political and social affairs.
