Ellison Bay Arts Spring Art Crawl Touches on History

Marcy Farber outhouse. Newport House Gallery

For this year’s Ellison Bay Spring Arts Crawl scheduled for May 15 and 16, 10 am – 5 pm, eight venues are celebrating not only their artistic endeavors from this winter but also the history of Ellison Bay by sharing the stories of their homes, studios and galleries.

As the members of the Ellison Bay Arts group open their doors to the public for this crawl, the stories of The Clearing, Ellison Bay Pottery, Gills Rock Stoneware, Newport House Gallery, Turtle Ridge Studio and Gallery, Cousins Walk, Linden Gallery and Clay Bay Pottery will be handed out to visitors.

The artists in Ellison Bay have worked hard all winter to fill their shelves with the tried and true and something new. Many will be demonstrating this weekend, and it’s the perfect chance to get to talk to these talented and dedicated artisans.
