Encouraging Words for Writers

Whether you are new to writing or have been writing for years, it’s always helpful to meet with other writers for encouragement, support and constructive criticism. Write On, Door County’s open groups, offer the inspiration you need to stop thinking about that book you want to write and to start writing it. There are currently three groups in three different communities. If you would like to join one of the groups, please contact the facilitator listed below. The Egg Harbor Creative Prose open group meets the first Tuesday of the month. The next meeting is April 7, 6 – 8 pm, at Mojo Rosa’s. The facilitators are Karen Corekin ([email protected]) and Cynthia Delamer.

The Ephraim Mixed Genre open group meets the first Thursday of the month. The next meeting is April 2, 1- 3 pm, at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County. The facilitator is Jami Hanreddy ([email protected]).

The Sturgeon Bay Mixed Genre open group meets the third Monday of the month, on April 20, 10 am – noon, at 5th & Jefferson Café. Facilitators vary; to join the group email [email protected].
