Environmental Council Panel Examines Local Issues

“The Past, Present and Future of Door County” is the second program in a three-part series that the Door County Environmental Council is sponsoring to examine the many issues facing Door County residents. It will be held May 18, 7 pm, at the Kress Pavilion, 7845 Church St. in Egg Harbor. Attend in person or via Zoom at dcec-wi.org.

A panel of local citizens – Christie Weber, Paula Anschutz, Fuzzy Sunstrom, Terrie Cooper, Kelly Catarozoli and Kelly Avenson – will discuss solutions to the increasing number of tourists, lack of affordable housing, shortage of seasonal workers, short-term rentals, environmental challenges, aging infrastructure and other issues.
