Ephraim Artist to Exhibit at PKJ Designs

PKJ Designs announced the opening of a new series of construction paintings in oil entitled the “Cana Island Prisms” by Marcia Nickols. An artist reception will be held Saturday, July 17 from 3 – 8 pm at the gallery. Her work will be on display throughout the summer.

Nickols art shows her interest in the reflections, movements, and changes of color on water. The “Cana Island Prisms” developed from a reflection she saw at the Cana Island Lighthouse as the afternoon sunlight poured through the Fresnel lens.

Nickols actively supports the Hardy Gallery, Peninsula School of Art, and the Door County Art league. She is also a member of Wisconsin Visual Artists, National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, and Oil Painters of America. She exhibits at Charlene’s Gallery 10, Gallery of the Door County Art League, Baileys Harbor Yacht Club, and Avenue Art in Appleton.

PKJ Designs is located at 3055 Church Street, behind the Chef’s Hat and Ephraim Village Hall, in Ephraim. The gallery also features jewelry by Pamela Jeffcoat, unique furniture by Michael Beaster, and neon sculptures by Jeff Coan. For more information call 920.854.9229.
