Ephraim Moravian Raises Funds for Bridges of Friendship

The Ephraim Moravian Church is holding a fundraiser at the church for the Bridges of Friendship program on Oct. 27, 8-11 am. The fundraiser features a free continental breakfast with fall bakery treats, fruit and beverages, along with a giant bake sale. All bake sale income and free-will offerings will go to Bridges for their work with international students who come to Door County to work.

Bridges is a program supported by seven Door County churches and provides friendship, assistance, and helpful services to international students working in Door County, both summer and winter. Bridges provides transportation to and from social events, English conversation groups and discussion groups. The American Connection pairs Door County families with international students for friendship, meals, and more while they are here. The programs are organized and led by a team of 26 local people who come from the sponsoring churches. All volunteer their time.
