Northern Door County is an amazing place on many levels. There is the topography, the lake, the bay and all the surrounding beauty, but most of all, it’s the people!
After a year of the challenges and the expense of battling COVID-19, local merchants, artists and restaurants were quick to step up once again with generous donations for the Ephraim Yacht Club’s (EYC) Aaron R. Moore Scholarship fundraiser. This scholarship fund at the Door County Community Foundation provides funding for sailing lessons at EYC to Northern Door families that otherwise could not afford to have their children participate.
EYC members extend genuine, heartfelt thanks to the following businesses, restaurants and artists for their donations, which will serve to fund our children in a positive learning environment that promotes the lifelong skills learned from the sport of sailing:
Dörr Hotel, Hanseatic Gallery, The Simple Solution, artist Nan Zimdars, The Great Outdoors, Firefly, The Ginger House, McEvoy’s Culinaria, Sister Bay Boat Tours, Fish Creek Scenic Boat Tours, Sister Bay Athletic Club, O’Meara’s Irish House, Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant and Butik, Cornerstone Pub, Bay Shore Outdoor Store, Bea’s Ho-Made Products, Chef’s Hat, Chelsea Antiques and Blue Willow, Door County Nature Works, Ecology Sports, Gage Fine Imports, J.
