Activities at the Park

10am-12pm. Archaeology Day. Why are there fossils at Peninsula? What is Wisconsin’s state rock? Get answers and see unusual rocks at Geologist Mim’s special rock and roll table. Drop by the Nature Center and stay ten minutes or longer. Free. Park vehicle sticker required.

11am-12pm. Sven’s Treasure Hunt. Long ago Sven Amondson lived in a cabin atop a high bluff. Sven left a treasure map that shows the hidden location of precious gems. Help find the treasured gems with the park naturalist, then craft a gemstone ring to keep. Donations appreciated. Meet at the Nature Center. Free. Park vehicle sticker required.
