Activities at the Park

11-11:30am. Wild About Woodpeckers. How do woodpeckers pound on trees without getting headaches? Which species makes large rectangular holes? Discover answers to these and other questions. Optional craft follows. Meet at the Nature Center. Free. Park vehicle sticker required.

1-3pm. Eagle Trail Hike. Learn how the bluffs formed, identify trees and flowers, and discover a bit of park history. Difficult hiking, two miles. Pack water. Meet at Eagle Tower parking lot. Free. Park vehicle sticker required.
