Evers Names Caleb Frostman to Cabinet

Governor-elect Tony Evers has appointed Caleb Frostman to his cabinet.

Frostman, the former director of the Door County Economic Development Corporation who won a special election for the 1st Senate District seat in June before losing in the general election in November, will serve as Secretary of the Department of Workforce Development.

The move was praised by Frostman’s former colleagues, and unlike many of Evers appointments, he earned praise from Republican lawmakers. Majority Leader Jim Steineke tweeted:
