Everyone Invited to Hispanic Resource Center’s Cinco de Mayo Celebration

Hispanic Resource Center of Door and Kewaunee Counties, Inc. invites all of Northeast Wisconsin to a Cinco de Mayo celebration on May 7, 3 pm to midnight, at Knights of Columbus Hall, 692 Tacoma Beach Road, Sturgeon Bay. The menu options are: chicken tamales with Spanish rice & beans, salsa, chips; chicken with molé, corn tortillas, rice & beans, salsa, chips; beef flautas w/lettuce, sour cream, salsa, rice & beans; and tamales (the cost for these are $20/dozen, and you must order ahead). The food costs $10 for adults and $5 for children. Food will be served from 3 to 9 pm. To order ahead, call Imelda at 920.559.1878 after 5 pm. The schedule is 3 – 7:30 pm raffle (8 tickets for $5 – need not be present to win); 3 – 5 pm bean toss game and Mexican bingo; 5 – 6 pm piñata breaking; 8 – 12 pm dance. The cost is $5/person or $8/couple. This is a fundraiser for the Hispanic Resource Center of Door & Kewaunee Counties, Inc.
