Fall Stampers

Get your paper cutters, adhesives and any other scrapbooking tools ready for the 2014 Fall Art Escape. Presented by Oscar’s Door County Rubber Stamps and Scrapbooking, the weekend is for stamp enthusiasts to learn new tricks, try different products and make projects to take home.

Stamps from Door County Rubber Stamps and Scrapbooking’s Green Bay Packer paper collection will be showcased in some of the Fall Art Escape workshops.

The three-day event will be held at Bridgeport Waterfront Resort in Sturgeon Bay, and has numerous workshops for participants. Instructors include Donya Schroeder, Pat Niemuth, Judy Schneider, Lisa Hartel and Oscar Hansen. Workshop size is limited to insure the highest quality of classes…so sign up early. Students will need to bring their own supplies from their art/tool kit, and will need to create a nametag to wear for the weekend (you’ll receive a free gift if you do this).

Friday, Oct. 31

• Dreamweaver Stencil Workshop with Glitter & Glitz

Work with metallic stencil pastes along with mirrored and psychedelic papers to create 12 elegant card fronts. Included in the cost is a Dreamweaver spreading tool and stencil design.

• Green & Gold Memories/Scrapbook

The newest collection of Packer Green & Gold papers, die cuts and coordinated fibers will be presented. Create dozens of titles, borders and accents to adorn five double page layouts.

• Art-filled Round Robin

Five stations with 30-minute mini-classes; five projects will be made.

Saturday, Nov. 1

• We’re In Packer Territory!

An all occasion card making party, with a Packer theme. Use Door County Sentiment stamps and new Packer-themed papers to create eight all occasion cards.

• Northwoods Sunflower Spectacular

Use four new limited edition sunflower stamps and learn how to color a variety of different sunflowers. Make four cards using these new stamps and blend with Tombow markers on Northwoods blending paper. (You will receive a special gift for taking this class.)

Sunday, Nov. 2

• Northwoods Advanced Christmas Sampler

Make four Christmas cards by using 3-D techniques on the new Christmas stamps and blending with Tombow markers on Northwoods blending paper. (You will receive a special gift for taking this class.)

• Door County Rubber Stamps Snowmen/Die Cuts

Create five cards with coordinating envelopes with new snowmen dies, and try out zentangle. Free coordinated set of stamps included with this class.
