Featured Pet: John Doe

Meet John Doe (wihumane.org/adopt/animal?id=44321686), a four-year-old cat who’s available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) Door County Campus.

Upon arrival as a stray, this handsome guy was nervous but social, giving headbutts for attention and purring despite being in a strange, new place. Since that day, he has shown more and more of his sweet personality. John Doe enjoys being pet, is quite chatty and loves food.

He is also FIV-positive (feline immunodeficiency virus), but don’t let that deter you! Cats that are FIV-positive can still live a normal, happy life with regular veterinary visits.

Like all cats at WHS, John Doe is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. You also get to name your own adoption fee and will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam.

To meet this golden-eyed gentleman, call the WHS Door County Campus at 920.746.1111 to schedule an appointment. The facility is located at 3475 Park Dr., across from Cherryland Airport in Sturgeon Bay.
