Fish Creek Cancels Winter Festival, Launches Winter Tour of Lights

The Fish Creek Civic Association has canceled the annual Fish Creek Winter Festival, planned for Feb. 5-7, and all associated events have been canceled as well because of COVID-19 concerns. 

Despite the cancellation, the association still promises a bright and merry winter season through its self-guided Winter Tour of Lights. After a successful fundraising campaign this past summer and fall, money and volunteer efforts have been directed toward lighting up Fish Creek. A map highlighting extra-festive locations and spots for picture-taking will be available. A must-stop photo op awaits Winter Festival diehards at the end of December in Clark Park, where the festival tent is typically located.Event organizers look forward to welcoming everyone back to Winter Festival in February 2022.
