Florence Thomas Celebrated 100th Birthday Sept. 1

Florence Thomas celebrated her 100th birthday party on Sept. 1 at First Baptist Church in Sister Bay, where she has the honor of being the oldest parishioner. Relatives from as far away as Oregon, Texas, North Dakota, Minnesota and Michigan turned up for the event. Four generations are pictured with Florence – her son, Howard Thomas, granddaughter Amanda and great-grandson Colton, 5, who was meeting his great-grandmother for the first time.
