Focus on the Door Exhibit at The Hardy

As one of three jurors for the current Hardy Gallery photography exhibition titled Focus on the Door, Suzanne Rose was invited to hang five images.

Rose said of her work, “I thought it would be fun to counter [co-juror Dan Anderson’s] huge, front to back sharp images captured around the world at some of the most amazing photo destinations on the planet with images made here in Door County…on my iPhone.”

The show is up through Oct. 15 at The Hardy Gallery, located at 3083 Anderson Lane in Ephraim. The exhibit displays work from some of finest active photographers in the county and northeastern Wisconsin. For more information call 920.854.5355.

Rose will also lead upcoming workshops at Björklunden in Baileys Harbor and Glas Coffeehouse in Sturgeon Bay.

The Glas workshop is an advanced iPhone photography workshop on Sept. 21, 9:30 am – 3:30 pm. Through classroom instruction and field trips, Rose will guide participants through her personal process and workflow on the iPhone. Learn how to capture images mindfully then edit and app stack to unlock your creative intent – all in the palm of your hand.
