But when his life is changed by bad news from the doctor, the laces of his dream begin to unravel. Left without a game plan, Victor must learn quickly that there is more to life than his favorite game. With the help of his family, his shaken-but-loyal best friend, and the unexpected gift of a lifetime, Victor sets out to turn his personal tragedy into a triumph. With a unique and endearing cast of characters, Football in Heaven is a book for all ages, genders, and creeds, and is the perfect gift for this holiday season. Most of all, it is for anyone looking to discover what winning in life truly means.

Nebel wrote his first work of fiction when he was 10 years old, a 13-page story about a boy and his football team trying to win the city championship. Ever since then, he has had a deep passion for influencing the world in a positive way through storytelling. Football in Heaven was written mostly during his time at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where he studied English and Spanish Education. Born and raised in Madison, with family roots in Sturgeon Bay, his family also owns one share of Green Bay Packers, Inc.
