Forestville Resurfacing Old Elm Road

At a special meeting of the Forestville Town Board on Sept. 10, bids were opened for resurfacing Old Elm Road. The bid from North East Asphalt was $134,324.00 and the Door County Highway Department bid was $118,648.50, a difference of $15,675.50. A motion was made by Jason Tlachac, seconded by Larry Huber, to award the Old Elm Road resurfacing project to the Door County Highway Department at a cost not to exceed $118,648.50. Motion carried.
