Frykman Studio Gallery Holds Spring Reception

“View of Fish Creek – HZ” photograph by Heather Harle Frykman

The Frykman Studio Gallery of Sister Bay will hold a spring reception throughout Memorial Day weekend. The event will showcase new photography by Heather Harle Frykman and Lucas Frykman, new woodcarvings and oil paintings by David Frykman, and new pottery by Steve Jorgenson.

Heather and Luke’s work highlights Door County scenes including vistas of Nicolet Bay and Welker’s Point in Peninsula State Park, waterscapes from Sunset Park and Anderson Dock. Two new images are also available for their laser-cut wooden photo puzzles. David’s new carvings include whimsical Santas and shorebirds like pelicans, puffins, life-size hanging geese, swans and seagulls.

The opening will be held from 10 am – 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday. There will be refreshments, a chance to win a photograph or a shorebird woodcarving and the artists will be available to visit.
