FSA Reminders for Local Producers and Landowners

Wisconsin Farm Service Agency (FSA) has numerous reminders for producers and landowners for the start of the New Year. Producers who are considering upgrading or adding extra storage space for harvested crops may be eligible for the Farm Storage Facility Loan (FSFL) program.

Also, producers receiving less than $600 will no longer receive IRS Form 1099-G (Report of Payments to Producers) or IRS Form 1099-MISC.

Landowners are reminded that snowmobile trails must be approved by FSA before being permitted on Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) acreage. For detailed information visit http://www.fsa.usda.gov.
